1. Who runs this

Movie of the Day ("the site", "we", "us") is operated by @c0devengers. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

2. Who can use it

The site is open to a worldwide audience. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to make payments in your country to place a bid. You're responsible for making sure using and paying through the site is lawful where you live.

3. How bidding works

Every calendar date is its own auction with no login required — you identify yourself with your Instagram handle. The highest total bid on a date when it resets becomes that day's Movie of the Day. Raising your own bid only charges the difference between your new total and what you've already paid on that date. Full mechanics are in the rules.

Every handle shown on the site links to instagram.com/<handle>. Because there's no login, we don't verify that you own the handle you type — don't enter someone else's handle. See Acceptable use below.

4. Payments

All charges are in USD and processed by Dodo Payments, a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your card details — Dodo handles that directly. A bid only counts once Dodo confirms the payment succeeded; failed or abandoned checkouts never touch the board. See our Refund Policy.

5. Content you submit

When you add a movie, you provide its title, an optional poster image URL, a required IMDb link, and a genre. You're responsible for making sure any URL you submit is accurate and that you have the right to link to it. We may remove or edit any submitted movie entry at our discretion, including for inaccurate, offensive, or infringing content.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the site for fraud, to submit unlawful or infringing content, to abuse the checkout flow, to enter an Instagram handle that isn't yours to impersonate someone, or to attempt to manipulate the leaderboard outside of normal bidding. We may remove bids or restrict access in response to abuse, including on request from the real owner of a handle used without their permission.

7. No warranty, limited liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Bids are payments for a chance at the day's spotlight, not a guaranteed outcome or a reservation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, @c0devengers is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
